FRANCE

I wanted to like it. I really did, but France and I haven't had the best of times. My time in France was brief and limited to mainly Paris. I expected to love it like so many I know, but I'm afraid I can't lie. It was my least favourite places. Let's see if it can change my mind next time. 

• Oh, the utter embarrassment! I nearly got stuck on the train from Paris to Vernon, on our tour to Monet's Garden. Not sure my daughter has forgiven me yet!
